Originally a small town girl from Massachusetts, then 23 years in the Dallas, Texas area, now 19+ years in the Ozarks of Missouri.
Solo-preneur Artisan. That translates to 'I am the boss of me'. Literally. This came about by default when I could no longer manage out in the real working world because of health issues.
Born from my jewelry making and back yard gardening was a change in focus of these pastimes becoming business ventures instead of just hobbies. It was a very natural transition and now my ADD is less cumbersome for others and I can fully embrace this overactive thought process that helps in keeping designs fresh and current.
A bit Boho represents a bit of the Bohemian paired with a contemporary style. In designing necklaces, bracelets and earrings, I like using things that normally would not be associated with jewelry. Some common things used are textiles, paper, resin, wood, vintage/or just plain old pieces and mixed metals. Everything has potential. That and being able to use my ADD to it's fullest capacity, keeps the ideas continually flowing. Choosing the practical ones is the key. It's hit or miss. But life is that way isn't it? With a bazillion folks making jewelry these days one must stand out without being too far out. I hope I have captured that fine balance.
My gardening is now a mini back yard nursery, with ever changing plant varieties.
You will find on this website my newest creations in jewelry and mini plant gardens. An eclectic array of handcrafted and homegrown items. Each jewelry piece is unique, some are similar in style but all keep their individuality. Some are casual and great with T-shirts, some are red carpet worthy (one can hope), most are great for everyday wear. Occasionally I will have seasonal pieces. There is a style and color to please most tastes, but I tend to keep to the bohemian style.
Thank you for reading this far and for stopping by. Please check back often as new creations are added regularly. I can't stop myself, not that I want to.
