A bit Boho was started around 1990 as an outlet for selling my overflowing hobbies of handmade jewelry, textile creations and lifelong passion for plants. Around 2016, I added knitting, weaving and crocheting to the mix.

A bit Boho is my solo-endeavor, self taught practicing metal-smithy, local artisan business that creates a variety of multi-media wares that are all handcrafted in Springfield, MO among the Missouri Ozark Mountains.

The beauty of the Ozarks is awesomely inspiring and reminds me of my growing up in New England, only without the extreme winters!

My handmade wares include
artisan jewelry pieces created with silver, bronze, jewelers brass, unusual Czech glass beads and hand painted paper beads. I also make unique designed planters and containers for my Air Plants. My knit and woven items include knitted fingerless/driving gloves and scarves made on a loom.

I incorporate quality, responsibly sourced materials and healthy plants. My finished products are all very affordable.

And now, for those who are not familiar with the term "Boho". Boho is a shortened version of the word Bohemian. Bohemian in turn, has many colorful interpretations and nuances. As it applies to me and my ascetic, I am, just a "bit" of an introverted, eclectic, free spirited, misfit, gypsy of society.
